Good Morning!

Good Morning!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. I’m delighted you found me. As you can see, this is my first post on a brand new blog.

I intend to publish on a regular schedule. Mondays and Wednesdays will typically be writing about topics I’m thinking about at the moment. Fridays will be reserved for a series oriented to my Christian faith. Expect to see a fair amount of photography here, too. I’ve developed a huge interest in photography since I left off blogging a few years ago and I’m excited to start sharing again. (Instagram just isn’t sufficient.)

Aside from photography, I have a full life that gives me time to read and think and play and write. My kids are older and I’m now a mom to two college kids and two high schoolers. I’ve been through many, many sports courtesy of my kids but now live with two pretty serious horsewomen. My husband retired from his full-time work a year ago, we live on a farm with an ever-changing group of animals, and we travel a lot. I feel like I have a lot of irons in the fire, tons of fun things to share, and the perfect platform to start speaking from.

In the next few weeks, I plan to share a little about what it’s like to see your nest empty out (so hard), watch your kids start to fly on their own (very rewarding), and buy a charter sailboat in the Caribbean (much crazier than what you might expect). I’ve got some other ideas percolating.

My two wishes right now are that, first, you’ll hop over to my “about me” page, get to know me a little, and leave a comment here. Second, I’d love it if you’ll come back on Wednesday for my next post.

You can follow me on Facebook or Instagram (@cldrury) and that way you’ll never miss a post. Thanks for joining me!
